Osteopathy is a form of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions.

It works with the structure and function of the body and is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.

Medical Acupuncture

Emily uses medical acupuncture as part of her osteopathic treatment when needed. This can help relax muscle tension and desensitise the area. This might help reduce pain levels. If you would like to have acupuncture please mention this when booking.

Cranial Osteopathy

Cranial osteopathy is a subtle and refined approach to osteopathy. Cranial osteopaths use a highly trained sense of touch to feel subtle changes of tension and tissue quality, and to diagnose areas of strain or dysfunction. The osteopath works by offering gentle and specific support where it is needed to bring the tissues into a state of balance and release.

Vitamin B12 Shots

We offer a consultation and B12 shot for clients wishing to know more about a vitamin B12 shot and whether they are suitable for this treatment. Emily is trained to administer vitamin B12 shots.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing, through which universal energy is transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing. Deep states of relaxation can be achieved.

Facials

Our therapist Janis offers Facials to tailored to your skin type. Her treatments can include: a cleanse, exfoliate, steam, extraction, massage, mask, tone and moisturize.

Waxing

We offer waxing for various parts of the body from eye brows to legs, including for men. Depending on the area this may be with strip waxing or hot wax.

Janis offers:

Treating Babies and Children

Osteopathy looks at the whole body holistically. When treating babies and children we will take a full case history to identify all the symptoms and the medical history which will allow us to begin formulating the diagnosis and what may be contributing to the symptoms.

The examination will include a full body assessment with some neurological and reflex testing. We will then explain our diagnosis and treatment plan. Treatment is normally provided at first session.
